Truss Manufacturing Operative:
We are looking for unskilled labourers to work alongside Truss setters. The position is 45 hours per week. There will be manual handling of manufactured Trusses involved. You will need to have a keen eye for details and quality, checking manufacturing detail at all opportunities. You will be required to assist our Settlers and learn to read drawings, measure timber, work to deadlines, adhere to health & safety and learn to comprehensively use machinery.
Hours of work are 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 7.30am to 3.00pm
Timber Frame Panel Maker
We are looking for an experienced panel maker, this experience may not necessarily be within the panel making industry and could encompass any experience in handling or making of wood products. You would need to be able to read basic drawings, have a strong work ethic, have some experience in using power tools. Checking your work and maintaining a high work ethic is essential.
Hours of work are 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 7.30am to 3.00pm
Sawyer
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking individual to join our team based in Beeston, Sandy, Beds. The job will involve the cutting and manufacturing of timber frame components including Trusses. You will be expected to ensure that all timber components are machined to the correct specification, checking, and maintaining quality at every opportunity. Industrial woodworking saws must be used in a responsible and efficient manner to keep up with the high volume of production expected. Manual handing of heavy items is expected, so health and safety procedures must always be adhered to. We would also invite applicants who are not necessarily experienced in machining timber but have used machinery in a past role.
Hours of work are 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 7.30am to 3.00pm
