Bartram have been supplying timber products in the UK since 1998. We are a family-owned and run company based on the A1 in Bedfordshire serving customers all over the UK, and predominately throughout the Home Counties, South and East of England.
The Bartram Group comprises of 3 businesses, a timber merchants supplying a varied and wide range of loose timber, sheet materials and cladding to both trade and public. A manufacture division for Roof Trusses, Metal-web and ‘I’ Joists supplied to the building trade, architects and surveyors, and a Timber Frame department supplying to the Self Builder, Developer and Main Contractor marketplace. Our flexibility means that we can handle all sizes of orders, from single pieces through to multiple products.

I have worked at Bartram’s since 2002, where I joined as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. I now manage the accounts department, and training provided through Bartram’s has enabled me to gain my Level 4 Membership to The Association of Accounting Technicians.

I’m Jo and I’m the Senior Production & Enquiries Coordinator at Bartram’s, I started my role with Bartram’s in September 2018.
We work as a small team to ensure all orders are processed and delivered through to site correctly.
Before joining Bartram, I worked within the manufacturing industry, providing support to the service and parts teams.
Senior Production and Social Media Coordinator
I’m Amy and I’m the Senior Production & Social Media Coordinator at Bartram’s, I started my role in September 2018.
My day to day role is varied, but in a nutshell, I work alongside our Production Director and Designers to ensure all orders are processed and delivered through to site correctly. I also look after our social Media platforms here.
Before joining Bartram, I was working in the Weddings and Events industry, so high detail administration, sales and accounts management are just some of the skills I bring to my role.

I have 8 year’s experience within the timber engineering sector and have worked for Bartram’s designing roof truss and floor joist systems for the last 4 years.

I have worked at Bartram’s since 2017, having worked in the timber industry for the past 7 years. My overall background is in IT Systems and CAD design, with my day to day role creating Truss/Floor designs for estimating and then manufacturing. I also assist with technical support to new and existing customers.

I have worked for Bartram’s after leaving school in 2012, where I trained in the design office designing Easi-Joists for 4 years. I now assist Craig in the timber frame department and to take care of the co-ordination side. Day to day I deal with all timber frame admin, arranging transport for all timber frame projects, ordering of materials required for the manufacture of the timber frame.

I have spent all of my working career within the timber frame industry starting in 1966, initially in a factory unit preparing production information, but have fulfilled many other roles including materials and sub contract buying. I am currently in my fourth year at Bartram employed as an estimator.
